Question: Tell us about your life before ThroughConversation?
Simone: Before ThroughConversation my life was… how do I explain that? I spent a lot of time ruminating, I spent a lot of time in my head. If I would have conversations with people I would probably spend hours if not days, if not weeks going over the conversation over and over which took up a lot of my energy. I wouldn’t say that would cause depression necessarily but it definitely took away energy where I could have applied that in other places and I think the reason I reached out was because I just want a change in my life all together, something was definitely missing, I felt there was something spirit wise missing and just something emotionally missing.
Question: Why did you chose ThroughConversation?
Simone: I chose ThroughConversation because first of all A friend recommended it to me and he just lit up like a Christmas tree when he describes how JP would where do his sessions and he told me that it was going to completely change my perspective about absolutely everything. I will be one hundred percent honest, I was a little skeptical at first like ‘no that’s not going to happen, no way,’ and I was very, very guarded probably the first session but I just, I had tried a number of different things in the past I could, I was going to say I could show you all the books I have. I don’t know how many more, they are all gone but I had a ridiculous amount of books, I was always a self-help person reading them all but I wanted to try something different and this sounded exactly down my alley, so that was the main reason.
Question: Did ThroughConversation give you what you desire?
Simone: It absolutely gave me what it is that I needed, I was looking for a life where my mind would be peaceful and I wasn’t constantly going and that’s what I’m finding that it’s doing. I also have a life now that I wake up in the morning and it’s almost like the birds are constantly chirping, always like joy and happiness constantly and when I do have stressful situations, I know how to handle stressful situations before I could handle them but not in healthy ways and now I know how to handle them in healthy ways. So I without question have definitely found what it is that I need.
Question: What were you able to achieve with Jean-Paul’s help?
Simone: I think the biggest thing I was able to achieve is not spending all this time over analyzing absolutely everything. So I am now able to whether be sitting on a couch or walking down the street or whatever actually have a peaceful mind, have a quiet mind that’s not constantly moving, which I’m still thinking it’s just not going on and on and on. So that’s probably the most important thing for me, it’s quiet but quiet in a very good and peaceful way and a calm way. So my life is very calm and very peaceful and very quiet and I’m very grateful and yes it’s a very nice and quiet, I think that’s the most important thing.
Question: What impressed you the most about this work?
Simone: I think what impressed me the most is how quickly it worked. I think it was session two that I realized already that I was getting some serious benefits and I was a little skeptical already from the beginning and I was like ‘that’s seriously not possible, that I’m session two, session two that I was already getting results.’ So working that quickly and then I call it the tool box, but it’s a tools that I got right. So being able to go back and I mean to use the tools on a regular basis but to be able to go back and use those tools at any points. I don’t how, I didn’t get all, any of those tools you know like I was saying before it’s like I always felt like I was a hamster on the hamster wheel and as I needed some tools and I didn’t have any and now I got this tool box. So I think those are the most impressive things.
Question: How did ThroughConversation impact your confidence?
Simone: It totally boosted my confidence and people definitely mentioned certain things, they can see it in my face, they sense that in the way that I talk. One of my girlfriends mentioned you know ‘you’ve got a voice,’ and it’s not just like she can hear it but she goes ‘you just you come out now.’ You know I mean I came out before the way I talk but she said ‘you’re not afraid to say anything as before.’ I would be so careful the way I say certain things, I still have a filter, I’m still you know nice about things but it’s completely changed the way that I am. I’m more confident about things and my self-esteem has completely changed as well.
Question: Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience?
Simone: I don’t even know how to take explain it, you know all the things that you’ve gone through, all the books that you’ve read, all the counselors you’ve gone to, there’s nothing, there’s nothing out there that will touch what it is that you do in this program. You’re going to get tools that you can use on a daily basis and you will be flying high.
